Former YG Entertainment CEO Yang Hyun-suk might spend three years in prison for trying to hide B.I.’s drug allegations and threatening informant Han Seo-hee.

The 23rd Criminal Agreement Division of the Seoul Central District Court heard the case on November 14. The South Korean music executive faces a three-year prison sentence, while the vocalist for BTBT faces a two-year sentence.

The former YG Entertainment head allegedly threatened former idol trainee Han Seo-hee after she informed authorities about B.I’s alleged drug use. He made it apparent that the former informant trainee believed him when he said that it was nothing to take someone like you out.

He acted criminally with malice, yet he doesn’t appear to regret it. Yang Hyun-wrongdoing suks was made worse by his additional efforts to conceal the circumstances.

The former CEO of YG Entertainment, Yang Hyun-suk, was charged with intimidating and pressuring Han Seo-hee.
The prosecution asked for a three-year prison sentence for Yang Hyun-suk during the present trial.

The former K-pop star was accused of extortion and threatening Han Seo-hee with death after disclosing details about B.I’s illegal drug use. Yang, according to the prosecution, exhibited no regret for his deeds.

The ex-member of Seo Taiji and Boys admitted to talking to Han Seo-hee. But he denied the allegations of coercion and threats in a statement.

“Most of the stories are untrue. I informed them that she should not use drugs to be a respectable child out of concern for her. The remaining fifty percent of the time was used for comforting and listening.

The victim claimed that Yang’s words were becoming more threatening and enraged. He allegedly stated to Han Seo-hee:

“I can see anything you state in the inquiry,” “In the entertainment business, it would be easy to kill someone like you,” “I’ll give you a gift and choose a lawyer for you if you return your police statement.”

Former iKON member B.I, real name Kim Han-bin, was connected to a scandal involving the use of illegal drugs in 2016, and Han Seo-hee, known at the time as informant “A,” admitted to giving a member of the group marijuana. She swiftly corrected the information, retracting her initial remark.

Three years later, Han Seo-hee made the same claims and Yang Hyun-suk was charged with dodging the charges. YG’s inventor is currently on trial and might spend three years behind bars.
