Michael Che

Michael Che has stated openly that he does not desire a relationship with a celebrity. In a May 29, 2021 episode of The Howard Stern Show, host Howard Stern asked Che if he had ever been tempted to marry a celebrity.

Net Worth of Michael Che

As of January 2023, Michael Che’s net worth is roughly $4 million.

Che Would Not Date a Famous Person

Stern prodded the host of Saturday Night Live once more, asking him why then taunted him further by stating that it was an excellent idea.

Che could not be more discontent. He continued by defending his position. He added that he has always seen the relationships of celebrities to be miserable.

According to him, it is significantly more difficult for celebrities who already demand major press attention individually to form a conventional partnership.

Dating a superstar was arduous

He emphasized that this was only his own opinion. He accepted that some celebrities had found love and were in amazing relationships, which is wonderful. Che believes that dating a celebrity is too challenging.

However, he also mentioned how difficult it was for him to find a partner outside of the entertainment industry owing to the lack of protection, paparazzi, etc.

It would be “exhausting” and “difficult” to maintain a normal relationship under these conditions. In light of this information, the SNL host would prefer to be with a normal person from outside the entertainment world.

A celebrity called him out on his Dating App Etiquette

Despite his expressed disdain in being paired with a celebrity, ‘Married to the Mob’ creator Leah McSweeney reprimanded him for his dating app behavior.

McSweeney devoted an entire episode of her podcast Improper Etiquette to depicting Che as an arrogant and inconsiderate B-list star. She was very upset and even called him derogatory terms.

Che apparently met McSweeney through a dating service and was quite nasty to her throughout their talk, referring to her as “a stupid [expletive]”

Che’s Perspective

Che called Page Six in response to the podcast to provide a history of their encounters, which revealed a different narrative.

To make a long tale short, McSweeney did most of the talking throughout their conversation, but when she did not receive the reactions she desired, she made accusations insinuating he despised her because she was white.

On January 2, Che ultimately broke their texting friendship. In the text, he said categorically that he did not want to see her since she made bizarre statements to provoke a response.

He had little interest in determining the analogous behavior in the real world. Even after all of the charges, the comic remained composed and allowed the evidence to speak for itself.
