Meghan Markle penned a touching note on the website of the animal welfare group Mayhew, mourning the loss of her good friend Oli Juste.
The Duchess of Sussex and Oli shared a love for animals, and it was he who introduced her to the organization. Oli passed away suddenly on January 15, 2022. Here is what we know about Meghan’s close pal at this time.
Who Was Oli Juste?
Oli was both an animal behaviorist and a dog trainer. You may recall him from his appearance on Puppy School on Channel 4. The dog trainer’s podcast, titled A Dog’s Best Friend, featured special guests.
He disclosed to Khoollect that he had researched dog behavior and trained with pet therapist Sarah Whitehead and the Association of Pet Dog Trainers.
Personal life-wise, he was engaged to Rob at the time of his death Oli had a Springer Spaniel/Parson Russell Terrier mix named Bernard who was by his side when he passed away.

Meghan paid Oli a heartfelt homage in her Mayhew post. She has thanked him and Rob for helping rescue pets and exposing her to the animal welfare organization.
“Every day brought a new turn, and each week offered a fresh update, which Oli and I would discuss: “What can we do? What else can we do? ” Look at the incredible work they continue to do,” she wrote.
In Oli’s honor, Meghan stated,
“In his memory, we will establish the Oli Juste wing at Mayhew to house animals who may have difficulty finding permanent homes.”
Because they will never be forgotten and always be cherished, just like Oli.
It appears that many others learned of Oli’s passing only after reading Meghan’s touching message. In the comments portion of the Instagram post that reported Oli’s death, numerous individuals have expressed their condolences.
