Who Is Lauren Paylor From “Drink Masters” Season 1?

Inside Man

Netflix’s Drink Masters is sure to get your attention. Although there are several food-related television series that have caught viewers’ attention, this new reality program takes a different approach.

In the new competition program, 12 mixologists compete to create the most creative drinks to win the $100,000 grand prize and the title of The Ultimate Drink Master.

Twelve bartenders compete in various tasks on the reality TV competition to advance to the finals. Only three of the twelve contestants advanced to the final round, where they competed by serving the judges a three-course meal. The judges were won over by Lauren Paylor, sometimes known as LP, as she dazzled them with her signature concoctions.

According to Drink Masters’ official synopsis

Twelve of the most inventive mixologists in the world “infuse, swirl, and blend their way through a series of high-stakes cocktail challenges for the chance to win a life-changing prize and the title of The Ultimate Drink Master.”

29-year-old Lauren is a New York City native. LP’s love of cooking is a result of her early fascination with science and arithmetic. She is also quite analytical and technical in her line of work. She writes down every ingredient and calculates its quantity before adding it to the final drink.

Lauren was an R&D Production cook at a bar in Washington, DC. The Cinemaholic claimed that Lauren spent most of her time in the kitchen since she felt more at home there.

Lauren has years of experience working as a bartender. She is a writer who has contributed to many magazines, and she has won various awards. The TAG Global Spirits Awards and the ASCOT Awards both have Lauren on their panels of judges. She served as an Emmy’s official bartender.

The work of the Drink Masters winner has been published in several journals and other media outlets. She was also listed as one of the 40 Under 40 for 2021 by Wine Enthusiast.

She’s currently in Washington, D.C. She calls herself a “no & low ABV Enthusiast” and has over 9400 followers on Instagram. She impressed the judges in the championship round, but her journey through Drink Masters wasn’t without its difficulties. She was accused by the judges of acting cautiously and slowly in the first episode.

On the other side, Lauren was determined to finish the race and didn’t want to quit. In the second episode, she started improving right away and ultimately won the task. Along with improving her abilities, Lauren did so throughout the season.

The judges were satisfied with Lauren’s excellence and uniqueness. The Drink Masters competitor also went directly to the championship round.

The judges loved the other two of her concoctions, despite one of her final cocktails being a little too sweet in their opinion. She has ultimately crowned the competition’s victor.
