However, the self-described fact witness lacked the expertise needed for such a senior, professional position. He made critical errors in several high-profile cases, with disastrous consequences, including the wrongful imprisonment of innocent people.
He retired more than 25 years ago. Because those in authority continue to ignore pleas to conduct an official investigation into his career, the extent of his misconduct and the precise number of cases it affects remain unknown.
