She later went on to work for WUSL, a Philadelphia radio station. In 2001, she began working for WBLS. By 2008, she had become a syndicated show in Shreveport, Louisiana, Redondo Beach, California, Wilmington, Delaware, Columbia, South Carolina, and Toledo, Ohio. In 2009, she resigned from her radio job.

Wendy made her television debut in 1992 in the series “Martin.” She presented the morning show “Good Day New York” in 2017. The next year, she began hosting her own talk show, “The Wendy Williams Show,” which initially ran in four cities before Fox opted to broadcast it nationwide after a successful run. BET began showing the show in approximately 54 places around the world in 2010. She missed the performance in January 2019 because she was hospitalized due to complications from Graves’ disease.
