He disclosed that he was engaged in a second automobile accident roughly three months after the near-fatal October 2019 event before his stoppage victory over Yordenis Ugas earlier this year. Spence disclosed in that instance that he had been rear-ended and was suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).
