A seasoned guard in American football, Uche Nwaneri played for the Jacksonville Jaguars for seven seasons in the National Football League (N.F.L.).

Reports claim that on December 30, 2022, around one in the morning, the former Jacksonville Jaguars offensive was at West Lafayette, Indiana, when his wife discovered him unresponsive and called 911.

Nwaneri passed away on Friday after traveling from Georgia to his wife’s house in West Lafayette, Indiana, according to the Lafayette Journal & Courier.

On December 2, 2023, the Jacksonville Jaguars officially announced his passing.

After his retirement, Nwaneri ran a YouTube channel called The Observant Lineman where he routinely critiqued NFL films with a concentration on the Jaguars.
