The Truth About Ethan Nestor

Ethan Nestor

Ethan Nestor (also known online as CrankGameplays) has nearly 2 million subscribers to his channel. Nestor is a versatile content producer with skills in several areas, including writing, producing, editing, and directing. Although Nestor has been producing content since 2012, his internet fame has only recently taken off.

Vlogs that Nestor and his pals produced were some of his early YouTube recordings. He subsequently launched his gaming channel, drawing motivation from YouTubers like PewDiePie. Nestor has co-managed the Unus Annus channel with fellow content producer Markiplier for the past 12 months.

Who is Ethan Nestor?

In Cape Elizabeth, Maine, on October 24, 1996, Ethan Nestor was born. Nestor, a skilled gymnast since a young age, excelled in contests while in school. Before starting to upload videos at the age of 15, Nestor’s love of gymnastics was his main focus. Ethan began his YouTube career because he was bored and had nothing else to do.

Ethan’s passion for YouTube gradually took the place of gymnastics. Ethan decided not to pursue professional gymnastics or college admissions after graduating from high school and instead concentrated on content production.

He relocated to Portland, Maine, and allowed himself a year to see whether YouTube would become a successful business. He achieved enough success within a year to give up the idea of applying to colleges. Ethan told Tubefilter that communicating with his audience is what he enjoys most about YouTube:

“I believe that the community is my favorite aspect of creating stuff for YouTube. Even though some people can be intrusive and I frequently need to take a vacation from social media, being able to engage with my community is fantastic. Knowing that I always have somebody to chat with, no matter what time of day is incredibly comforting.

Nestor toyed with the possibility of rekindling his enthusiasm for gymnastics in a 2018 Q&A with Famous Birthdays, but only as a hobby rather than a career.

He was unable to fit the demands of the sport into his extremely busy schedule, though. The YouTube video creator admitted to Tubefilter that he hardly had a life outside of the site:

“I don’t have much going on besides YouTube. That’s probably true for the majority of video producers on YouTube. It may seem a little arrogant, but YouTube isn’t a job; it’s a way of life. I kind of live my work rather than having set “work hours.” I only do it! which I enjoy. I consider myself to be fortunate to be able to do this for a living, and I wouldn’t swap it for anything.

Unus Annus was terminated by YouTubers Nestor and Markiplier

Unus Annus was terminated by YouTubers Nestor and Markiplier after the channel attracted more than 4 million subscribers.

Nestor and his close friend Markiplier started working on the Unus Annus YouTube project in November 2019. Before deleting the channel, they intended to produce and publish as much content as they could for a year. With more than 4 million subscribers, the channel was an utter triumph.

Even while Unus Annus made Ethan’s schedule busier, it also increased the number of subscribers to his YouTube channel. The fact that he was so busy with Unus Annus, he added to Tubefilter, “has surprisingly helped me a lot. Lack of routine was starting to get to me, and pushing myself alone was incredibly difficult.

Some viewers refused to think that Ethan and Mark would shut down the channel as the time until the deletion date ticked down. It didn’t make sense to delete a project with more than 4 million subscribers. The pair, however, followed through on their pledge. On November 13th, 2020, Unus Annus stopped being active online.

Ethan and Mark finished the last stream before shutting down Unus Annus. Then Nestor uploaded a video to his channel in which he expressed his satisfaction with what he and Mark had accomplished in a year. He stated:

“Unus Annus was a truly, incredibly unique thing. I firmly believe it was a unique experience that won’t be repeated and will go down in YouTube history. In the manner we went about it, the tone we pushed, the content we created, and the way we presented it, what we created was a first for the platform.

Ethan doesn’t think of himself as being straight and sees sexuality as a spectrum

Many people reject the premise that each person has a fixed sexual orientation by viewing sexuality as a spectrum. In a Q&A with his followers on January 15, Ethan stated that he agrees with the notion that sexuality is a continuum.

He remarked, “It’s a spectrum family. He continued, “I don’t consider myself bisexual, but I have kissed other men. It’s a fucking spectrum.” Then Ethan questioned whether he should date males, but he claimed that he isn’t straight:

“I’m not sure if I’d date a guy. A spectrum exists! Many individuals, in my opinion, agree with me that Chris Evans is quite gorgeous. Would I date a dude? He is fucking hot as hell. In my opinion. I mean, I’ve kissed men before. Do you think I’m bi? In my opinion, no. Would I describe myself as wholly straight? A spectrum exists! ”

Mika and Ethan, who dated for more than two years, split up in August 2020.

Before he made the separation public, there was no sign that Mika and Ethan were divorcing. Ethan announced on Instagram that he loved Mika the day after Valentine’s Day. He stated beside several photographs, “There’s no one else I’d rather yell strange noises with and drink glasses of full milk.”

Early in August 2020, Ethan posted on Twitter to let his fans know that the pair had decided to break up. The tweet implied that they parted ways amicably:

I wanted to let you all know that Mika and I are no longer dating, even though it is really painful to say this. Please do not feel that you must pick a side. I will always be pleased for Mika and will continue to support her. She is still a significant person in my life, and I am immensely grateful for our time together.
