Bhad Bhabie(Danielle Peskowitz Bregoli) is an American rapper and internet personality who sprang to fame after joining her mother on a Dr. Phil show. Bhabie said, “Catch me outdoors, how about that?” throughout the episode. it sounded more like “Cash me outside, how bow dah?” due to her accent.
Bhabie capitalized on her instant celebrity and launched a career as a rapper when the statement went viral and became a meme. With her debut single These Heaux, Bhabie made history in 2017 by being the youngest rapper to have a song on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. With Atlantic Records, she now has a recording contract.

Barbara Ann was born and raised in a challenging New York neighborhood. She had a challenging upbringing and relocated to Florida to work as a compliance analyst after finishing her schooling.
Ira met Barbara after she relocated to Florida and began working for the Palm Beach Police Department there. Bhabie wasn’t raised with both parents; she was born in Boynton Beach in 2003.
Soon after Bhabie was born, Ann and Ira separated. Bhabie and Barbara shared a beautiful home in Boynton Beach that she was able to purchase because of her credit rating.
After Barbara was given a cancer diagnosis in 2007, things became difficult for her and her daughter. At the time, Bhabie was only four years old and took over as her mother’s primary caregiver.
Bhabie clutched Barbara’s hair as she vomited and applied aloe to her mother’s chest to reduce the discomfort from the treatment. Barbara’s cancer was in remission by the end of 2007, but she wasn’t well enough to find employment. Insurance, child support, and assistance from her relatives allowed her and Bhabie to get by. During that challenging time, Barbara spoke with the Palm Beach Post:
“A lot of moms like me are out there, but sometimes you believe you’re the only one, and we should all be acknowledged. It’s challenging to live alone. A mom is the one who gives birth to a child, even though a dad is a dad. She takes care of that youngster. You will always be a mother. That remains constant.
After Bhabie gained fame, Barbara came under fire for abusing her daughter
Bhabie’s behavior deteriorated rapidly, and due to disciplinary problems, she frequently changed schools. In the sixth grade, she transferred to a school for problematic girls, but instead of getting better, she grew more rebellious.
After stealing her mother’s car to travel to Miami, Bhabie’s behavior quickly turned illegal, and Barbara had her detained. Following the broadcast, Bhabie’s reputation skyrocketed, and Barbara’s perspective on her daughter shifted. Barbara received criticism for appearing to give up on her daughter during Dr. Phil and then unexpectedly hugging her.
Even some supporters alleged that the performance was faked. During her discussion with Dazed, Barbara responded to her detractors with the following:
“I put my daughter on that program to give her a fighting chance. These people have no idea who I am, for the love of god. Do they ever communicate with me? Has my daughter ever sat with them before? No. But now they’ll despise her. Do you understand the reason? She is personality-driven. She has a talent.
Bhabie’s father allegedly said he had given up on his daughter
After a tiresome custody dispute, Bhabie’s father allegedly said he had given up on his daughter.
Ira was conspicuously absent throughout the entire Dr. Phil saga. In a video he produced in 2018, Ira offered his opinion on his daughter’s fame. He stated in the video that he and Barbara had been engaged in a custody dispute for Bhabie since 2003.
He stated that the court’s repeated irritation and rising legal costs led him to give up on getting custody of his daughter. Ira continued by disparaging Barbara’s parenting of his daughter. The Sun quoted Ira as saying:
I simply remarked, “Wow, that’s my daughter.” Even though I contributed to her creation, I could tell that those features and qualities weren’t mines; that’s not how you nurture a child. I would never permit her to behave or speak in such a manner, but I had no control over that. If I had played even the slightest role in her upbringing, we wouldn’t be in the situation we are in now.
Ira asserted that he enrolled Bhabie in a rehabilitation program and added her to his health insurance after the Dr. Phil episode. Bhabie’s father, who is married and has two kids, stated that he wanted Bhabie to meet her siblings. He was condemned for hoping to make money off of his daughter’s reputation and the timing of the video was questioned.
Bhabie said she wanted a restraining order against him
After her father allegedly accused Barbara of being an abusive mother, Bhabie said she wanted a restraining order against him.
Bhabie stated that she was avoiding social media at the beginning of 2020 to concentrate on her mental wellness. But when she returned three days later, she didn’t mince words in an Instagram post directed at her father. The comment was in response to what Ira had written on Facebook:
“There is a video showing the mentally ill mother assaulting my kid once more, and she was banned from Instagram,” the mother claimed. However, it demonstrates that my daughter’s mother beats her frequently; the State Attorney’s office refers to this behavior as corporal punishment. You were tasked with protecting a child and upholding my parental rights, but you failed to do so.
Bhabie responded by charging Ira with abandoning Barbara and marrying a stripper he met in Canada. Additionally, she demanded a restraining order against Ira and alleged that Ira posted the post to attract attention. Later, Bhabie blasted Ira for being an absent dad in an Instagram Live video. She said:
You haven’t done a goddamn mother-fucking thing for me in my entire life, punk, listen to me out. One gift you gave me was something I’m positive your mother purchased rather than you. So, kindly. I have not been given anything. Everything my mama has done for me. Everything! You haven’t accomplished a thing.
It doesn’t appear that Bhabie and her father will be able to get along anytime soon.
