What should we expect from The Price of Glee?
Glee is a Fox musical comedy-drama television series that aired from May 19, 2009, to March 20, 2015. It followed the lives of members of ‘The New Directions,’ a singing society at William McKinley High School that competed as a show choir while dealing with societal issues such as sexuality, racism, family, adolescent relationships, and teamwork.
The show was a huge success and a cultural phenomenon. The caste went on to become household names, but not everyone fared well. According to the official synopsis of the show:
“On ‘Glee,’ ten young performers made their television debut in May 2009. They’d all be famous by 2020, and three of them would be dead.”

According to Jason Sarlanis, president of Crime and Investigative Content – Linear and Streaming, the show is:
“Glee was a once-in-a-generation cultural phenomenon that courageously challenged societal conventions and sparked pioneering conversations about sexuality, racism, handicap, and family. Many people were delighted by each music-filled week, but even one of television’s happiest programs couldn’t escape Hollywood’s dark underbelly and the rush of emerging social media.”
He continued, saying:
“While praising the show’s enduring influence on pop culture and extraordinary success, The Price of Glee examines the immense strain that comes with being launched into superstardom and provides new insight into the horrifying tragedies that befell the Glee cast and crew.”
People close to the cast members, such as set decorators, hairdressers, stylists, publicists, and entertainment reporters, have been questioned about the show, and some disturbing details will be revealed. C
