The Orlando Magic Ridicule LeBron James With A Vicious Tweet

LeBron James

After the Lakers’ season ended, the Orlando Magic mocked LeBron James with a particularly vicious tweet. After the offseason fanfare around the Lakers’ lineup, the Purple and Gold endured one of their worst campaigns in years.

The Lakers’ season was marred by injuries and inconsistency, as they finished 33-49 and 11th in the Western Conference. It implies that LeBron James and the rest of the club will take an early summer break.

The Orlando Magic also had a dismal season, but no one was expecting them to uproot trees. Despite this, the Orlando Magic’s Twitter account continued to make fun of LeBron James.

The Magic concluded the season with a 22-60 record, which was the second-worst mark in the NBA behind the Houston Rockets. However, that did not prevent them from taunting LeBron on Twitter.

On Sunday night, following their final NBA game, they tweeted, “I’m officially done for the season.” I’ll see everyone in the fall.

It was an identical copy, right down to the emojis, of LeBron’s ill-timed April Fool’s Day joke about missing the remainder of the season. James said it was a prank, but it backfired when he missed the final five games of the season and the Lakers failed to qualify for the playoffs.

Fans have naturally ridiculed LeBron since he tweeted it.

The Lakers Fired Frank Vogel

After three seasons, the Lakers fired head coach Frank Vogel on Monday (April 11). The former Pacers coach won a title with the Lakers in 2020, but he was punished for the team’s dismal performance this year.

The general manager of the Los Angeles Lakers, Rob Pelinka, commented, “This is an extremely difficult choice, but one we feel is essential at this time.”

Pelinka, the Lakers’ vice president of basketball operations, added, “I have tremendous respect for Frank both on and off the floor.”

Frank is an excellent coach and a nice person. We will be eternally grateful for his efforts to bring us to the 2019-20 NBA title.”
