The Hebrew Tattoo On Dave Marrs Arm Demonstrates His Faith In God

Dave Marrs

If you watch HGTV, you’ve likely heard of Dave and Jenny Marrs, who are the stars of the reality show ‘Fixer to Fabulous.’ Fans of the show are intrigued not just by the next historic home the couple will renovate, but also by a tattoo located just below Dave’s right bicep.

When the show host extends his arm while wearing a T-shirt, the tattoo is only infrequently visible. Rarely (if ever) does he discuss it.

Jenny disclosed in 2017 in response to repeated inquiries that the tattoo is in Hebrew and that its importance stems from her husband’s strong Christian beliefs.

It is difficult to find a clear photograph of the tattoo on public platforms, but a selfie-stick video filmed by Dave partially discloses it.

Dave and his wife are both committed Christians and ardent humanitarians

The viewers of Fixer Upper applaud Dave Marrs and his wife for retaining midwestern values. Among these qualities are kindness, simplicity, earthiness, and Christian advocacy.

During an interview with At Home in Arkansas, the couple disclosed that their average day begins at 6 a.m. with quiet time and Bible reading.

Not only are they not passive believers, but they are always searching for ways to help others in need beyond simply praying and saying “Amen.”

In terms of being down-to-earth, the hosts of the reality show adopted an orphan (called Sylvie) from the Democratic Republic of the Congo and frequently contributed money to help feed needy youngsters.

The compassionate couple also manages a blueberry farm in Northwest Arkansas to give educational opportunities to orphaned and at-risk teenage boys in Marondera, Zimbabwe.

They have cooperated with Pastor John Chinyowa, the director of an orphanage in Zimbabwe, to assist fund and educating the youth there, who frequently turn to crime after the age of 18.

The orphanage youngsters in Zimbabwe receive vocational training to prepare them for adulthood, made possible by financing from Berry Farm.

Interestingly, the blueberry is a significant symbol for the couple because berries are perennially fruitful plants. According to the farm’s website, “your investment will last decades if you love and properly care for berries.”

This is analogous to “how we invest in the lives of program children.” According to an Instagram post, the stars of the television show have also helped Pastor John establish a new church.

Dave’s tattoo further demonstrates his confidence in God

Given the Marrs family’s reputation for decency and conservatism, most people are astonished to learn that Dave has a tattoo.

Probably because of this, there has been so much interest in it. The tattoo has special significance for Dave, a fervent Christian, according to his wife, despite the fact that he has rarely discussed it.

She stated that the inscription is from Psalm 18:2 and translates to “My Deliverer.” It is a passage that could have a deeper significance for Dave, depending on what he was thinking when he commissioned it.

The complete verse of the psalm clarifies the meaning of the Hebrew tattoo on the host of a television show.

Marrs family includes a couple, five children, and numerous farm animals and pets

Dave Marrs’s family is adorable. The charming couple is currently raising five children, all of whom are younger than ten years of age.

Luke, their youngest child, is just over a year old, Charlotte and Sylvie are 5 and 7 years old, and Nathan and Ben, their twins, are 9 years old. On December 20, Dave tweeted a lovely snap of his five children playing in the mud.

In addition to these mischievous youngsters, the Marrs family has twelve sheep, a llama, six cows (with calves on the way! ), twelve chickens, three dogs, and two kittens.

The pair from the television show revealed in an interview that their family is their primary concern. In order to protect their family time, they have imposed stringent limits on their evening and weekend time despite their busy schedules.
