Stu Allan, A DJ And Producer, Died After A Prolonged Cancer Battle

A well-known DJ and producer of electronic music named Stu Allan passed away on September 22 at the age of 60. His friends and relatives confirmed the information on Thursday night and sent the following statement to his social media accounts:

We are writing to let you know that Stu passed away today, and we are doing so with deep regret. In a short while, we will be planning a memorial gathering where we can all honor Stu’s amazing life. Please share your memories of Stu in the comment section below.

The late DJ was honored by presenter Justin Robertson, who said that Allan “introduced him to more amazing music than he can recollect.” He continued by saying that he first heard hip-hop and house music at one of Allan’s performances.

Allan, who was born in 1962, became well-known in the 1980s and 1990s for his work on Piccadilly Radio and Key 103. His performances had a big impact on the music of the time, and DJ Magazine placed him third as the best DJ in the world in 1993.

In Manchester’s Piccadilly Radio between 1984 and 1986, Allan’s mixes and remixes were frequently played. Allan started his DJ career in 1982.

He received his own program on Piccadilly Radio in July 1986, and despite serving as a stand-in, he was hired permanently. Additionally, Allan created soul television shows including Souled Out and Bus Diss.
