Stoney Westmoreland Was Arrested And Charged With Enticing A Minor For Sex

Stoney Westmoreland

Stoney Westmoreland was just given a two-year prison term for attempting sex with a minor. He acknowledged using facilities across state lines to send data about a child.

Westmoreland was initially accused of luring a minor online, a crime punishable by up to 10 years in prison. The actor is required to register as a sex offender and submit to DNA testing. His electronic equipment will be examined, and he’ll have to give the authorities information on his online accounts.

Westmoreland must always contact anyone over the age of 18 while being escorted by an adult.

He attempted to have sex with a juvenile, which led to his arrest in 2018. On the dating app Grindr, he met a 13-year-old girl with whom he exchanged pornographic images. It was later discovered, though, that he had been pretending to be a child when speaking with an undercover police officer.

Stoney Westmoreland was released from custody after his arrest, and a statement was released. Their spokesman claims:

“Stoney Westmoreland, an Andi Mack actor, was taken into custody today in Salt Lake City.” Due to the severity of the claims and our responsibility for the health of hired children, we have fired him from his recurring role and he will not be returning to work on the series, which wraps up production on its third season next week.

Andi Mack’s Stoney Westmoreland alter ego

Westmoreland played Henry Andrew “Ham” Mack in Andi Mack. The only guy in the Mack family and Andi’s grandfather appeared frequently. Ham, the only sane person in the family, tries to reason with both sides in an effort to help Bex and Celia come to an understanding.

He frequently finds himself in a position where he must decide which side to support as a result. He is a grandfather and a peaceful, modest man.

From April 7, 2017, to July 26, 2019, the Disney Channel family comedy-drama series Andi Mack aired. It chronicled the middle school years of 13-year-old Andi Mack and her closest friends, Cyrus Goodman and Buffy Driscoll.
