Stevie Nicks Admitted That She Was Once Pregnant But Had An Abortion

Stevie Nicks

Stevie Nicks is a well-known figure in Hollywood. She is a singer-songwriter from America. She has been a very successful vocalist throughout her career, but her personal life has not been as fruitful.

Who was the first boyfriend of Stevie Nicks?

She has had numerous romances in her lifetime. Lindsey Buckingham, an American singer, and musician was her first significant partner. She began dating Buckingham in 1971.

Both of them belonged to the same industry and were vocalists. Despite belonging to the same industry, they were unable to maintain their connection. In 1976, the couple separated.

She met American film producer Jimmy Iovine at the beginning of 1980. After a few weeks of getting to know each other, they begin dating.

She was involved in a serious relationship at the time, but it did not continue forever. They disbanded in 1982.

Are Stevie Nicks and a spouse?

Following numerous failed romances, she met Kim Anderson. She met the American basketball coach Kim during a Missouri Tigers basketball game.

In 1982, they began dating each other. In January 1983, after dating for several months, they were married.

Does she have offspring?

In 1984, after one year of marriage, the couple divorced. She admitted to being pregnant, but she had four abortions.

Stevie stated:

“Giving up four babies is equivalent to giving up a great deal of present-day life. So this greatly disturbs me and hurts my heart. However, they are gone, so…”

She stated, in an interview,

“However, I could not because I was too busy. And I had all of these obligations.”

Regrets

She was pregnant by Don Henley whilst in a relationship with him. Don is a well-known American singer-songwriter, producer, and drummer. Additionally, he is a member of the band Eagles.

This is the abortion she regrets the most. She even composed a song for the infant titled Sara. The song was a smash in 1979 and reached No. 7 on the Billboard charts.

Don said in an interview,

“I believe, to the best of my knowledge, that I am responsible for Nicks’ pregnancy. And she called the child Sara, had an abortion, and then dedicated the song of the same name to the spirit of the aborted child. I was building my house at the time, and the song includes the line, “And when you build your house, call me.”

Steve expressed her sentiments in an interview

“Had I married Don and had that kid, and if she had been a female, I would have named her Sara, since Sara was my favorite name for that type of music. Sara was and continues to be the love of my life.

Other Matters

It appears that she was seeking real love. After a divorce and numerous breakups, this is why she continued to form new relationships. She began dating the American singer-songwriter Joe Walsh towards the end of 1984, and their relationship lasted until 1986.

She fell in love with the English musician Rupert Hine two years after that breakup. Their romance began in 1988 and ended in 1989.

Did she marry for a second time?

She has not been in a relationship since that time. Nicks has never married twice in her life, and she is now unmarried.
