STAYC Isa, a girl group, will not perform today on the Inkigayo stage (July 31). One of the members, Isa, suffered an ankle injury, making it impossible for her to perform under these circumstances.

The remaining five members will continue with their signature session and ISAC recording (Idol Star Athletics Championships). Isa, a 20-year-old vocalist whose real name is Lee Chae-young, debuted with the female group in 2020.

According to the agency, STAYC’s Isa will not be attending any upcoming events. Isa, 20, will be missing the group’s upcoming promotional appearances. These include an Inkigayo performance, an autograph session, and ISAC 2022.

The group will also not be attending the SBS Inkigayo performance, according to the note. Ensembles typically do not bring injured members to the stage and instead perform without them. The agency handling the female group, on the other hand, chose to cancel the stage performance.

Fans may take heart in the fact that the trio will continue with their signing session and ISAC 2022 filming. However, Isa will not be present at these events.

“All STAYC members, except Isa, are still set to attend today’s autograph session and tomorrow’s scheduled recording for MBC’s ‘Idol Star Athletics Championships.”

The statement closed by stating that the agency would provide periodic health updates on Isa as well as future actions based “on the path of her recovery.”
