In March 2021, Sasha issued a statement revealing that some police officers were targeting Black Protestors who were participating in the 2020 Black Lives Matter protest, and they received repeated threats over the phone, prompting them to withdraw from the Kill the Bill protest.


According to the most recent information, Sasha was shot in the head on May 23, 2021, around 3 a.m. in Peckham, London. Sasha had previously received numerous death threats as a result of her advocacy, however throughout the enquiry, a friend disclosed that Sasha was not the shooter’s primary target.
