Sarah Snook is a 34-year-old Australian actress. She is well known for her roles as Jane and John in Ethan Hawke’s Predestination, as well as Gertrude “Trudy” Pratt in The Dressmaker. Sarah has received numerous prizes and acclaim for her work in these two films. In 2019, she starred in the critically acclaimed HBO series “Succession.” She portrayed Siobhan “Shiv” Roy in the film. This turned out to be her most memorable role to date.

Sarah Snook was born in Adelaide, Australia on December 1, 1987. She grew up in a family with a sales representative father and a caretaker for her elderly mother. Except for her grandmother, who was of English origin, everyone in her family was Australian. Sarah has two sisters, one in London and one in Papua New Guinea. After her grandmother died, her mother established a boarding house near the school where her sisters attended. Sarah later decided not to follow in her sister’s footsteps and attend the same institution. She chose to complete the midway grant at another school. Which provided a good expression program. In the end, this is what inspired her to pursue a career in acting in the future.

She was imprisoned in South Africa when the Second World War broke out, so she relocated to New Zealand. During which time she was caring for Sarah’s mother. Sarah’s mother had barely enough money after she passed out to leave for Voyaging. She met Sarah’s father while going through Papua New Guinea. Unfortunately, when she was 11 years old, her parents divorced. She attended St John’s Grammar School in Belair before enrolling in Scotch College in Torrens Park for her college education. She attended Sydney’s National Institute of Dramatic Art for Acting School and graduated in 2008 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Acting.
