Robson Green Is Being Blamed For The Separation Between The Vicar And His Wife

Robson Green

In the ITV detective thriller Grantchester, Robson Green, a captivating performer, won over viewers with his superb depiction of Detective Inspector Geordie Keating.

To find the perpetrator and learn more about what happened before the victim’s death, Green’s Keating and Tom Brittney’s Reverend Will Davenport collaborate.

Green is a superb performer, but his personal story is just as compelling. He is currently seeing Sunday school teacher Zoila Short.

They started dating after meeting at a Newcastle gym, were married, and eventually moved into Green’s Northumberland home.

On the set of Grantchester in 2018, the couple was first spotted together in public. When they first started dating, Short was already wed to a reverend. Their relationship made headlines, and many people assumed Green was the one who put Short and her husband at odds.

Reverend Geoffrey Short and his wife divorced in 2016 when it was revealed that Robson had an affair. The reverend was given an OBE at Buckingham Palace and went on to have three children with Short. When he was employed in finance and residing in Hong Kong, the former couple first met. They were married six years after they first met.

Given how swiftly the romance occurred, Geoffrey told the Mirror that he was shocked to learn about it. It made him question his religious beliefs. “We lived an amazing life together.” She was indeed the ideal vicar’s wife, as everyone thought. Geoffrey told the newspaper, “She adores the boys, and everyone commended her on being a fantastic mother.”

He continued by saying that everything changed one day when he got home from work. Short told him that the star would be her new roommate. She told him she had fallen in love with Green after they met at the gym. The pastor admitted that it was tough for him to forgive his wife.

Robson’s Two Failed Marriages Green

Before meeting Short, Green had already been married twice. He wed occupational therapist Alison Ogilvie on June 22, 1991; nevertheless, their marriage ended in divorce eight years later.

Pamela McDonald, who was then wed to Emmerdale actor Ian Sharrock, was supposedly the object of Green’s extramarital affairs. In 2016, he admitted to the relationship, saying that fame had affected him and made him “lose touch with what matters in life.”

In 1995, after splitting from the therapist, he encountered Vanya Seager, a former Page 3 model, while they were both working on Unchained Melody at BMG Records.

Their son Taylor Seager-Green was born in 2000, and they got married the following year. After exchanging vows in Buckinghamshire, they traveled to Mauritius to celebrate with their families. The couple filed for divorce, alleging that their marriage had “irretrievably broken down,” after 16 years of marriage.
