They had been blessed with a daughter named Maria Williams. But the relationship ended bitterly in 2001 when Jane filed for divorce from Ted.

Jane suspected him of being involved with other women in the middle. As compensation, Ted paid Jane $70 million and the lawsuit was settled. In 2012, Ted told Telegraph News that he had secret affairs with four different women at once.
