Regarding the Astroworld catastrophe, which resulted in the deaths of 10, Travis Scott has settled. The rapper, the event’s organizers Live Nation, and “others involved in the tragedy” have agreed in the legal case, according to a lawyer for one victim’s family.

Numerous additional people suffered injuries during the Houston festival in November.

Axel Acosta, 21, is represented by Tony Buzbee, who posted the announcement on Instagram.

The attorney, who also represents other victims, noted that numerous lawsuits have been filed on behalf of those who were hurt or killed, adding that the settlement in this particular case was “confidential.”

According to the lawsuit, Axel Acosta was “crushed by the incited, unruly and out-of-control crowd” and lay dying for almost 40 minutes while the music played.

“Acosta was adored as a son, a brother, and a pupil. He was loving and compassionate “wrote Tony Buzbee. “He will be sorely missed. Please remember to pray for his family.”

The family of Brianna Rodriguez, a 16-year-old victim, has reportedly confidentially settled their lawsuit, according to local media.

Live Nation and a Travis Scott spokesman have been contacted by BBC Newsbeat, but neither party has responded as of yet.

Five of the families rejected the artist’s offer to cover the expense of the victims’ funerals when it was made in November of last year.

At the time, a representative for the family of John Hilgert, 14, referred to the action as “demeaning and inappropriate.”

Of everything this case is about, he told Rolling Stone, “that’s the least of any concern.”

Travis Scott claimed in an Instagram video posted after the tragedy that he was unaware of how dire things had gotten before his performance.

Every time he could make out something going on, he would simply stop the show and assist the person in need of assistance.

In 2018, the rapper and concert promoter Live Nation debuted Astroworld.
