Rachel Glandorf McCoy ethnicity and Family

Rachel Glandorf McCoy in Los Angeles, California, the United States of America was born Rachel Glandorf. She is her parents’ eldest child, Steve Glandorf and Liisa Glandorf. McCoy has, apart from her parents, a younger brother named Josh Glandorf.

Rachel is American as far as her ethnicity is concerned, though her racial heritage is of white descent. She did not say further about her family, apart from this.

Early Life and Education

Born in Southern California, young Rachel went to the Colorado-based Vail Christian High School. While media attention is something new to her, Rachel has always been a high school powerhouse athlete.

Vail Daily described Rachel in the 2005 article as “easily the most accomplished athlete” in the history of the school.

Glandorf is easily the most experienced athlete in the history of the young school of Vail Christian. Three times in volleyball, she was all-league and flipped the trick four times in basketball. In spring, in the last two years of the 2A-1A state track meeting, she took home bronze and silver in the 800.

She also played basketball and volleyball, but still, the track was her best sport. While basketball was her favorite sport at first, the transformation came through the years.

I guess I’ll have to run a track if I want to go to a bigger school. I can play basketball if I want to go to a smaller school. Let’s face it, I’m better off the court than I’m on the basketball track.

Sure enough, Rachel enrolled at Baylor University right after her graduation. In the 400-meter hurdles, she competed there, finishing fifth at the Dr. Pepper Invitational and ninth at the 2007 North Texas Invitational.

Marriage and relationship- Rachel Glandorf McCoy, Colt McCoy’s wife

Colt McCoy needs no introduction, as we know by now; he is a loving husband and caring father. For over a decade now, the two have been married, so where did their love story start?

From what we hear, in the summer of 2008, Rachel and Colt met while Glandorf was a KEYE TV intern in Austin. Colt was the starting quarterback for the Longhorns at the time. Likewise, their first meeting, where Rachel interviewed Colt for her channel, was purely professional. It was then that the two met and began dating. Rachel spoke to the Dallas Morning News about their first meeting before they got married.

I had several interviews with him before we finally went out near the end of the summer. I tried, initially, not to date him. I heard that he’s a nice man. But you never know it.’

She then spoke about her first date and said,

When were they married? How many kids has Rachel got?

It didn’t take long for Rachel and Colt to tie the knot right after their relationship ended. On January 12, 2010, after two years of dating, the lovebirds got engaged. On July 17, the same year, they agreed to make it official and exchanged vows.

Similarly, at the Westover Hills Church of Christ, their lovely wedding ceremony was performed. Around five hundred guests filled the room, including their friends and family. Not to mention, Aaron Watson, the singer, sang with former Longhorns wide receiver Jordan Shipley during the gathering.

Also, some skeet shooting was part of the wedding, a sport where Rachel excels. Prior to the 2012 Alamo Bowl, Colt described the shooting at a press conference.

“It was at our reception… At this location outside of Austin, we had our reception. At our wedding, we had a lot of guests and that was part of the reception. If you want to fire a skeet, you might as well. And we walked over there when Rachel and I first got there. By the way, she hit it. She stabbed it.

The couple celebrated their tenth anniversary just this year and are looking forward to spending more years ahead of them. Furthermore, the lovely couple is blessed with three lovely kids.

In 2015, Rachel gave birth to their first child, Sloane, followed a year later by Brooke Lincoln. Similarly, Glandorf gave birth to their third child, a son, on July 10, 2018.

How tall is Glandorf’s Rachel? Age and Height –

An athlete, Rachel has always been fit, both physically and mentally, since her high school days. Glandorf, the former track and field member, stands at 173 cm (5 feet 8 inches) and weighs about 52 kgs (121 lbs).

Even though her track and field days are long gone, with proper diets and workout routines, she still keeps herself fit and safe. Similarly, Rachel still retained a beautiful figure measuring 33-24-34 inches, already a mother of three children.

On top of that, with her long blonde hair and coffee-colored skin, Glandorf looks attractive.

We find it hard to believe, thinking about it, that Rachel is 33 years old. Yeah, she was born on the 15th of June 1987, under the Gemini sun symbol. And people claim that they are nevertheless free-spirited, out-going, and wise.

Carer and professional life

Rachel was involved as a professional track and field athlete during her high school and college days. Also, Vail Christina High School, a member of the track and field squad, even hailed her as the best athlete the school has seen.

Since Rachel was all the rage, the school was right to say that. In her junior years, Glandorf won all-state conference honors and also placed second in the state at 800 meters.

In addition, Glandorf ran to 3rd place in the state in her sophomore and senior seasons. Not to mention, she got named Years Western Slope Sportsman in her senior basketball season. Rachel began as a journalist after she finished her high school and university education. She was an intern at KEYE 42-TV, a CBC affiliate based in Austin, Texas. But it seems that after her marriage, Rachel stopped all of her activities and remained a housewife.

Rachel made many Texas fans panic in 2011, a year after her engagement when she appeared on ESPN Radio on Colin Cowherd’s shows. She was asked about the involvement of boosters around the program for the Longhorns.

To this, she responded that it was a culture, and there was no room for many players to refuse boosters offering gifts. Her remarks quickly caused fans to worry as many speculate that it might cause the NCAA to push the program to launch an investigation.

Doug Farrar also wrote about Rachel’s comments on Yahoo! Sports and what it could offer. According to Texas rule, even if it is a hot dog or drink, it is obvious that all of their players can take absolutely nothing from the boosters.

Fortunately, the remarks did not lead to an investigation by the NCAA, but they led athletic director DeLoss Dodds to issue a declaration stating that Longhorns officials “take very seriously compliance.”

Net Worth and Salary

Her career as a journalist was later followed by the former track and field athlete, Rachel. She has accumulated, from what we hear, a net worth of $1 million so far. Even, under her signature, Rachel takes in an annual $50,000 salary.

At the same time, her partner, Colt McCoy, has an impressive $5 million in net worth. Similarly, his annual salary is about 1.5 million dollars. Colt McCoy is best known for being the quarterback for the Washington Redskins in the National Football League(NFL).
