Princess Mako, the first child and oldest daughter of Prince Fumihito and Princess Kiko, was formerly a member of the Japanese royal family.

She is the oldest grandchild of Emperor Emeritus Akihito and Empress Emerita Michiko and the niece of Emperor Naruhito. Kei Komuro, an attorney, and she were wed on October 26, 2021.
