On October 26, 2021, her name emerged in an F.I.R. filed at MRA Marg Police Station in Mumbai by a Mumbai-based barrister called Sudha Dwivedi. The counsel accused Dadlani, Sameer Wankhede, and three witnesses in the drug case, including Prabhakar Sail, Manish Bhanushali, and Kiran Gosavi, of “extortion by threat of a charge of an offense” in the FIR.
The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) stated before the Bombay High Court that Pooja Dadlani “seems to have swayed” a witness. The NCB’s claim was based on extravagant claims made by a witness named Prabhakar Sail.
Prabhakar claims that a private investigator named Kiran Gosavi sought Rs. 25 crores from Pooja Dadlani to settle the issue; Kiran Gosavi is the one whose selfie with Aryan Khan went viral. According to Prabhakar Sail, Rs. 8 crores of this sum was designated for Sameer Wankhede.
