The assistant sub-inspector who fired Odisha’s health minister, Naba Kishore Das, earlier today in the Jharsuguda district received serious injuries as a result. As the minister exited his automobile on the left side, he was hit by gunfire. He collapsed fast in his car seat. A police inspector and a young man who were both close to the minister both suffered minor injuries.
Information on the Death of Naba Das
Bhoi claims that a probe has been opened to find out what prompted the ASI to start firing. The minister is being lifted and placed in the front seat of a car while appearing to be unconscious in the video that PTI has access to, and Das is seen bleeding from the chest.
According to the SDPO, he was initially sent to the Jharsuguda district administrative hospital. After that, he said that arrangements were made to have him sent to a hospital in Bhubaneswar for “better treatment.”
Following the incident, there was tension in the neighborhood as Das’s supporters questioned “security breaches.” He was the focus of a plan, some of them claimed. Bhoi said that the ASI was being questioned right now and that more details will be released after a thorough investigation.
How did Naba Das fare?
As the Minister got out of his car at Gandhi Chhak, the police started shooting at him, and Mr. Das immediately fell to the ground. He was rushed to the hospital at the Jharsuguda District Office by his friends and supporters.
He was taken to Bhubaneswar for additional care because his health was still in critical condition. The Minister was shot at by ASI Das, according to Jharsuguda Sub-divisional Police Officer Gupteswar Bhoi, and two other individuals were also harmed in the incident.
The alleged police officers are being interrogated. According to senior police personnel, the attacker did not depart the site after firing shots at the Minister. The act is believed to have been initiated out of personal animosity.
