The rap scene has been rocked by PnB Rock’s passing. The 30-year-old rapper was fatally shot on September 12, 2022, during a heist at South Los Angeles’ Roscoe’s House of Chicken & Waffles.
Since then, there have been many responses to the news of his passing, with prominent members of the rap industry as well as his supporters using Twitter to express their feelings.
And although many of those have expressed sympathies for the rapper who is now died, a few have leveled outrageous accusations against PnB’s baby mother for being the cause of the catastrophe.

Up until this point, Kodak Black has been one of the most well-known figures to speak out in response to PnB Rock’s passing. And his initial response was shocking and made headlines.
Black immediately began writing a few sentences on PnB’s passing on his Instagram stories. He recalled having a conversation about a comeback in the music industry with the now-deceased musician the night before.
Then, in an astonishing assertion, he claimed that Stephanie Sibounheuang, PnB’s baby mother, was to blame for his demise. This accusation follows rumors that Stephanie may have revealed his whereabouts and made it easier to murder him as a result.
The pair, who were eating at Roscoe’s House of Chicken & Waffles immediately before the attack, was captured in a geo-tagged photo that Stephanie had posted. Many people believe that this geographical tip was the reason PnB Rock became a simple target for the robbers.
Nicki Minaj and Cardi B Comment on the Situation
The next two well-known figures to weigh in on the subject were Nicki Minaj and Cardi B. They each had a different perspective on the accusations Black had made against Stephanie.
Cardi B implied on Twitter that she did not think Stephanie was responsible for the murder and that it was just a coincidence by writing, “I highly doubt nikkas was looking at PMB’s baby mom’s IG.”
Minaj appeared to support Black’s claims
She seems to indicate in her first tweet that no rapper or their loved ones would reveal their whereabouts following Pop Smoke’s passing.
She also said in her second statement—possibly pointing the finger at Stephanie—that those that surround renowned rappers have a lot to gain.
The responses to these tweets and others show that there are plenty of individuals on both sides of this accusation.
Strange Death Circumstances
DJ Akademiks shared a video of one of PnB Rock’s talks from a week prior after the news of the rapper’s passing became viral. He mentioned an incident he had during the pandemic and hinted that his life was in jeopardy in the video.
But in all of this, Akademiks also emerged as the voice of reason. In a subsequent tweet, he stated that the person who killed PnB should be held accountable.
