He Applauds His Wife’s Heroic Act

“I will never be able to repay her for her valiant efforts.”

The doctor wrote on Instagram about how his wife, Jill Attia, saved their children’s lives nearly four years ago.

His son had a heart arrest at home when he was just a month old for an unknown reason. Peter’s son quickly went blue and cold, without a heartbeat.

His wife, a nurse, performed CPR on their infant and saved his life. Their son began breathing normally after three minutes of continuous CPR.

When the paramedics arrived, they informed Jill that her kid would not have survived if she had not taken the proper precautions.

Further emphasizing the need for CPR, he wrote,

“On this day, I’m reminded of how critical it is for people to know CPR. The number of abilities that you can learn in a reasonably short amount of time that can literally save a life is fairly short.”

Their four-year-old kid, who survived cardiac arrest, will be four on June 7, 2021. Aside from the four-year-old, Pete and Jill have two more children, a son and a daughter, Olivia, the oldest.

Peter Attia- Relationship, Married Life

The couple, who married in 2004, will be celebrating their seventeenth wedding anniversary in 2021. Furthermore, an Instagram post from 2002 in which he published a picture with his wife implies that the two dated for several years before marrying.

Peter and his spouse

Peter’s wife, a former ICU nurse, has been there for him in every way. The doctor is known for leading an active lifestyle, and when he was unable to run or cycle due to an injury to his knee, he turned to swim to stay healthy.

Peter had set the aim of open water swimming across Lake Barcroft several years ago, and his wife had been by his side during his training. She would paddle alongside Kayak to assist Peter in staying on his straight-line path and taking care of his intake on time.

The physician later became the first person to successfully swim from Maui to Lanai round trip with enormous hard work and encouragement from his wife.

Peter demonstrates his support for his wife’s charity endeavors through his socials, just as his wife does for him. In one of his Instagram posts, he expressed his admiration for his wife’s charitable activities.

My wife, Jill, and one of her best friends, Alison, will run the Chicago marathon in a few weeks to raise money for ALS. I’m so proud of Jill’s training (much too hard for me!) but I know how much it means to her.

Needless to say, it is their love and support for one another that has kept their marriage going to this day.
