Brett Young is an American country pop singer, guitarist, and songwriter who was born in Orange County, California. He was a collegiate baseball pitcher who changed jobs after suffering an elbow injury while playing for Fresno State in 2003.

Young began singing in the band’s high school when he replaced an absent leader in the late 1990s. After listening to the album Chariot by Gavin DeGraw, he was inspired to sing. Singer-songwriter Jeremy Steele also influenced him. Young made the decision to return to music due to their influence.

Young has seven consecutive No. 1 singles and multi-Platinum sales. Fans enjoy his albums Ticket to L.A. and Weekends Look a Little Different These Days, as well as his songs Sleep Without You and In Case You Didn’t Know.

According to the singer’s official website, brettyoungmusic.com, his full name is Brett Young.

“2018 ASCAP Country Songwriter-Artist of the Year” (Billboard); nominee for ACM, Billboard, Teen Choice, CMT, and CMA Awards.

He is married to Taylor Mills, his girlfriend, and the father of two daughters.

Ashley Cooke is a country singer-songwriter renowned for the authenticity of her songwriting. She grew up between the coasts of California and Florida.

She became interested in country music after hearing songs by Jason Aldean, Florida Georgia, Taylor Swift, and Rascal Flatts in high school.

Before the age of 18, she had lived in 19 different residences. She began “playing music and writing songs” at the age of 11. She commented on her journey to Countryswag.com:

“Music was the one constant I had while constantly traveling.” As a coping mechanism, I began writing songs, and I’ve always appreciated poetry. […] I began writing poetry in diaries and got obsessed with lyrics, rhymes, and similar concepts.”

Cooke won the Country Showcase competition at Belmont University, where she studied communications and marketing. Her accomplishment placed her in the company of Florida Georgia Line’s Tyler Hubbard, Brad Paisley, and Chris Young, among others.

Already Drank That Beer, Side A, Cooke’s debut album, was released in August 2021 and instantly became a fan favorite.
