She was going about her daily business as any other nine-year-old would. But a single event claimed her life, and she is no longer in our midst. Olivia her away on August 22, 2022, after being shot by an unidentified man at her front door.

Let us first tell you about Olivia Prat Korbel’s passing. Olivia’s mother, Mrs. Cheryl Korbel, heard a noise outside her house at 10 PM on August 22, 2022.
She let herself inside her house on Kingsheath Avenue in Dovecot, Liverpool, and opened the front door. Her daughter Olivia was behind her as she opened the door. Unrelated to Olivia’s family, Joseph Nee makes an attempt to break into Olivia’s house.
He attempts to hide inside the house after running from an unidentified gunman. Another man was running from the unidentified gunman alongside Joseph Lee.
An unknown shooter approached Olivia Pratt’s house and opened fire four times as Joseph Lee attempted to enter. One bullet from the four fired strikes Cheryl Korbel’s wrist before striking Olivia Pratt in the chest.
Olivia perished at the same time. Joseph Lee was the gunman’s primary target, but Olivia Pratt Korbel, 9, also died as a result. It has been reported that drug dealer and criminal Joseph Lee.
However, Olivia was finally pronounced dead after being taken to Alder Hey Children’s Hospital in Liverpool following the attack. Joseph Lee fled the scene in a black Audi, according to the police.
Following Olivia Pratt Korbel’s death on August 22, 2022, police apprehended Joseph Lee the next day, and he has since been imprisoned. Joseph was previously freed from prison in 2021.
A 36-year-old man, whose identity has not yet been made public, was detained by police on August 25, 2022, as a suspect in Olivia’s murder. After he was taken into custody from his Huyton apartment, two counts of attempted murder were brought against him.
Another man, believed to be 33 years old, was detained in Dovecot, Liverpool. There are two counts of attempted murder against him as well. Even so, the investigation is ongoing, and justice will eventually be served.

She was a school-going girl and may have been completing her studies in 3rd or 4th grade. Her mother has not shared much about her after she died. She was born and raised in Kingsheath Avenue, Dovecot, Liverpool before her death.

Home Secretary Priti Patel also visited the place where the shooting happened. She also pledged to provide more resources to Merseyside Police to reduce weapon and criminal violence.
Another famous personality Mr. Frank Lampard from Everton F.C came forward and requested people to share with the police if they have any information related to the suspects and attack.
