Nikita Dragun Is Accused Of Stealing The Scandal Beauty Nail Brand Concept

Nikita Dragun

Nikita Dragun is engaged in yet another issue after being accused of stealing product ideas from Scandal Beauty, an independent nail company. The company created a video that revealed striking similarities between Dragun’s products and those they offer.

The film also contained a side-by-side comparison of the two sets to show that Dragun’s nails were of inferior quality compared to the independent brand. Since then, the video has garnered more than 22,000 views and 1,900 likes.

More on the allegations that Nikita Dragun stole the concept for press-on nails

Recently, Nikita Dragun announced cooperation with Makartt to develop press-on nails. The advertisement film showcased Dragun’s long and beautiful claws.

Nevertheless, one of the nails in the video was eerily similar to a Scandal Beauty set. The independent company noted the resemblance in a captioned Instagram post:

“We had to bring back Us vs. Them for this one haha.”

In the video, the top search result for “scandal press on” was “Makartt X Nikita Dragun Scandal Press Ons.”

Then, they compared the two nail products side-by-side.

Makartt nails cost $15 for twenty-four nails, cheaper than Scandal nails, which cost $27 for thirty. Makartt’s nails were ill-fitting, brittle, and of worse quality as compared to those of the independent brand.

Additionally, the video reveals that Nikita Dragun recently purchased nail polish from Scandal Beauty. Over ninety viewers have commented on the video, sharing their thoughts on the entire event. An Instagram user, mc. prego, praised the nail quality, saying:

“Theirs appears to be inferior to what I’ve seen at the dollar store.”

Allytherose remarked that Dragun’s nails in the promotional film appeared to be distinct from those given by Makartt. They claimed:

“Her nails in the commercial did not resemble the ones she was selling……

Your nails are fire!! “She is incapable of competing!”

Another user, deeds mcnugget, provided their opinion:

Theirs were of such low caliber… They did not even resemble the original… They appeared to be inexpensive add-ons from the 1990s. It was a money grab for the firm, but they chose such a poor influencer that I doubt they will stay longer. Sincerely, I feel they will lose money on this venture.

According to user Lissa luvya, Dragun ought to promote a trans business. Doing so to a transgender-owned business that happens to support your community is disgusting.

Similar accusations have already been made against the influencer. In the past, Nikita Dragun has been accused of stealing component ideas from another independent company. In 2020, Dragun Beauty liquid lipstick was introduced.

Fans soon spotted the packaging’s similarities to another Opalescent-branded product. When Opalescent pointed out the similarity in a tweet, a user named Braxton Gary promptly stated that the component structure was a typical design utilized by numerous cosmetic laboratories.

Additionally, the influencer was accused of repeating humorous Tweets. On her Twitter account, she frequently sent humorous quips, but fans realized that many of her posts were duplicates. While some reprimanded Dragun and recommended she repost the postings instead of duplicating them, others argued that it wasn’t a huge deal, noting that people frequently duplicate and distribute hilarious tweets and memes.
