Kulp earned a bachelor’s degree in journalism from Florida State University in 1943. She also pursued her studies at the University of Miami for a master’s degree in English and French.

Kulp left the University of Miami in 1944 to join the women’s section of the United States Naval Reserve. Later, she was promoted to lieutenant and was awarded the American Campaign Medal, among other things. In 1946, she was honorably discharged from the Reserve.

Nancy Kulp married Charles Malcolm Dacus on April 1, 1951, in Miami-Dade County, Florida. In the company of their closest friends and families, the couple exchanged wedding vows. Nancy Kulp’s Demise

Nancy Kulp was diagnosed with cancer and underwent chemotherapy in 1990. She was in the latter stages of cancer. She died on February 3, 1991, in Palm Desert, California, at the age of 69. Her ashes are also placed at the Westminster Presbyterian Cemetery in Mifflintown, Pennsylvania. We can only hope that her soul rests in peace.
