Molly then worked as a reporter and producer in Jerusalem from 2015 to 2017, before moving to London in 2017 to work as a reporter. While she was overseas, she joined a non-profit group called Reclaim Childhood, which uses sports and games to empower refugee girls and women.
Molly went on to work for ABC for over eight years before joining NBC News as a News Correspondent in New York, Los Angeles, and Chicago. Hunter was appointed as the foreign correspondent in London in December 2019 and continues to hold the role to this day. During her time at ABC News, she covered a wide range of topics, including countries in the Middle East and Europe, as well as Presidents Obama and Trump’s overseas excursions. Hunter also won an Emmy for Outstanding Feature Story in a Regularly Scheduled Newscast for the Nightline story Caught in the Crossfire, which followed ten Syrians within the war-torn country. She reported live from the site for In-Depth TODAY when the ‘Lost Golden City of Luxor’ was uncovered by archaeologists in Egypt.
