During Kellerman’s teenage year he was appointed as a broadcaster in a famous cable television program in New York City which was reported to be his first broadcasting.

In 2007, he hosted HBO World Championship Boxing alongside main team Jim Lampley, Harold Lederman, and a guest analyst, Roy Jones Jr. and the late Emanuel Steward. On February 4, 2008, Max joined  ESPNEWS and SportsCenter  to XM Radio on ESPN Xtra

After his Colombia days, he became an analyst in the ” Friday Night Fights” boxing series of ESPN opening ways for his career. He got an offer to host the WEPN program at 10 a.m. to noon replacing Colin Cowherd followed by his HBO’s boxing broadcast. Not only that he also worked on CNN since 12 May 2010.

In December 2010 Max was a new midday host at ESPNLA 710 together with former NFL player co-host Marcellus Wiley, by replacing LA Sports Live with Andrew Siciliano and former NBA player Mychal Thompson.

Currently, he is a commentator of a famous TV channel HBO World Boxing Championship and HBO Boxing After Dark. Alongside he is a host of ESPN’s  First Take.

Max has step foot on acting career also. You can see his appearance in movies like Rocky Balboa, Creed, and  Real Husbands of Hollywood.
