Matt Gaetz Controversy, Is He Arrested For Human Trafficking

Matt Gaetz

Matthew Louis Gaetz II, an American lawyer, and politician, has served as the representative for Florida’s first congressional district since 2017.

He’s a Republican who backs extreme right-wing policies and endorsed Trump for president.

Gaetz is the son of prominent congressman Don Gaetz and grew up in nearby Fort Walton Beach.

He graduated with a law degree from William & Mary and worked as an attorney for a while before deciding to run for state representative.

From 2010 until 2016, he served as a Florida state representative, and became nationally known for his advocacy of that state’s controversial “stand-your-ground statute.”

Human Trafficking Arrest Rumors Surround Matt Gaetz

Whether or not Gaetz had a sexual relationship with a 17-year-old, whether or not he paid for women to cross state boundaries for sex (which is illegal), and whether or not he engaged in sexual conduct with a juvenile.

According to the Washington Post, prosecutors have recommended against pursuing Gaetz, citing the veracity of two witnesses.

Gaetz insists he is innocent and has denied any involvement in or payment for sexual acts with minors.

A story claims that in September, Gaetz begged outgoing President Donald Trump for a pardon because the fiery Republican was in dire legal jeopardy.

The Washington Post reports that federal prosecutors have recommended against charging Republican Rep. Matt Gaetz in connection with a sex trafficking investigation.

An inquiry into Gaetz’s alleged relationship with a 17-year-old girl has reportedly concluded that criminal charges are unlikely.

U.S. Rep. Matt Gaetz is being investigated by federal authorities after a former tax collector in his state of Florida was found guilty of sex trafficking with kids and other charges. She received an 11-year prison term.

Former Seminole County tax collector Joel Greenberg has been accused of following a political competitor, bribery, issuing fake licenses, and plotting to submit fraudulent credit applications.

Six federal crimes, including conspiracy to bribe a public officer, stalking, identity theft, and wire fraud, were admitted to by his guilty plea.

The prosecution claims that he bribed at least one woman to have sexual relations with him and other males.

Greenberg’s lawyer argued that his client should be spared punishment because he had assisted in the prosecution of 24 individuals (eight of whom were suspected of sexual offenses).

According to defense attorney Fritz Scheller, four federal indictments have resulted from Greenberg’s cooperation, and more are expected in the following month.

Matt Gaetz’s Private Life

In June of 2020, during an argument with then-Representative Cedric Richmond, Gaetz stated that he had shared an apartment with a Cuban immigrant named Nestor Galbán, then 19 years old at the time.

Galbán adopted Matt Galbán at the age of 12 and raised him as his own. Next, he revealed that Galbán is an ex-girlfriend of Gaetz and that he frequently visits Gaetz’s home to see his sister and other family members.

The two are not related legally or genetically. According to Gaetz, the love we share as a family is what cements our relationship, not a piece of paper.

He called Galbán a “local student” in 2016 and “my helper” the following year.

Ginger Luckey is the sister of Palmer Luckey, the creator of Oculus VR and a major Republican donor, and in December 2020, Gaetz announced his engagement to her.
