Bochum Klostermann played for VfL at various youth levels before being promoted to the U-17 and U-19 sides. He captained both teams before moving on to VfL Bochum II. Klostermann made his debut for VfL Bochum on March 14, 2014, in a 2-0 win over VfR Aalen.
Luka was only 17 years old when he made his debut. Klostermann took over as the team’s first-choice right back, replacing Paul Freier. Klosertermann made nine appearances for the team in his debut season in 2013-14.
Leipzig RB
Klostermann was signed by newly promoted side RB Leipzig later that year. Luka agreed to a four-year contract with the club. Klostermann was initially assigned to U-19 and RB Leipzig II.

Injury | Lukas Klostermann
