Breakthrough in 2014–2015

Soberano had her breakthrough in the hit romantic comedy television series Forevermore (2014), where she played strawberry farmer Maria Agnes Calay alongside Enrique Gil, who played Alexander “Xander” Grande III, a hotel company heir who later becomes Agnes’ love interest. The series finale received a 39.3 per cent rating. Because of the success of the TV series, Soberano and Gil became well-known.

Following the success of Forevermore, Soberano acted in the film The Bet, which was based on the Wattpad book of the same name. The film adaption, which was originally titled the same as its source material, was renamed Just The Way You Are (2015).
