Lisa Remillard, a two-time Emmy Award nominee, is no stranger to the world of journalism. She is now focusing on creating her own business and podcast after leaving her active broadcasting career in 2018.

• Lisa grew up in southern California in a close-knit Italian household.
• She was the oldest child in her family, with a younger brother who is now married and the aunt of her 6-year-old niece.

• Lisa used to work in Florida, where she was a reporter at WTXL in Tallahassee for a short time. She developed and hosted a weekly entertainment section there.
