James McAvoy, a Scottish actor, has admitted that he secretly wed Lisa Liberati, an American. Although he refused to acknowledge it, fans believed that the 42-year-old actor and his personal assistant got hitched in 2019, just over a year after they first met.

The Glass actor, however, quietly announced the news this week without giving any other details. The couple started dating a few years ago and recently got married, according to the media, which quoted McAvoy as saying this when speaking to the Guardian newspaper: “They started dating a few years later and, he confirmed, recently married.”
James McAvoy was asked if Liberati had made him an honorary Philadelphian because he is from that city, to which he said that it was like a “second home” to him. Six years after divorcing his ex-wife Anne-Marie Duff, he wed Liberati.

Former actress Lisa Liberati is now employed as a production assistant for movies. She graduated from Philadelphia University with a bachelor’s degree (now known as Thomas Jefferson University).
In addition to acting as a teenager, Liberati served as a production assistant on the 1995 cult classic Species. Although she has subsequently advanced through the ranks, it was also her final picture as an actor. In 2019, she began serving as M. Night Shyamalan’s personal assistant.
