She ran for Central Valley High School in Spokane Valley, Washington, from 2014 to 2018. As a rookie, Hull averaged 13.8 points and 6.3 rebounds per game. As a sophomore, she averaged 18.1 points and 8.6 rebounds per game, helping her team to the Class 4A state championship, and she was named the tournament’s most valuable player (MVP). Hull recorded 21 points and nine rebounds in the NCAA Tournament Elite Eight victory over Louisville. She had 18 points and 13 rebounds in a 66–65 victory over South Carolina in the Final Four. Hull got ten points and ten rebounds in Stanford’s 54–53 national championship game victory over Arizona, helping the Cardinal win their first title since 1992.

In the Final Four, she was named to the all-tournament team. As a junior, Hull was a two-time Pac-12 All-Star, averaging 11.6 points and 5.1 rebounds per game.
