Vittert’s next stop in his early career was Rogers, Arkansas, when he joined KNWA-TV, an NBC-affiliated virtual channel television station, which led him to become a member of another NBC-affiliated station, WMTV-TV in Madison, Wisconsin. Leland also worked as a newscaster and reporter for FOX’s KDVR-TV in Denver, Colorado, as well as WFTV-TV, an ABC affiliate in Orlando, Florida.
