Both Kandi Burruss and Tamar Braxton have addressed their separate positions on their months-long dispute.

Kandi Burruss and Tamar Braxton of The Real Housewives of Atlanta are engaged in conflict. Kandi, 46, responded to Tamar’s claim that her husband, Todd Tucker, threatened her during the fall of 2022 in relation to turmoil involving former RHOA producer Carlos King.

Several fans requested that Kandi address the problem during a March 20 Amazon Live session, so she did so in response.

“For now, the only thing I’ll say is… that’s not true. My spouse never spoke with her. She was not threatened by him. She stated in a contemptuous tone, “None of stuff is true.”

She said,

“She and I did exchange words, but he did not.” Some people like to bend the truth a bit, but we can discuss this on a separate platform later. Or not,” she continued before shifting to a different topic.

As previously stated, their confirmed feud began last fall when Kandi accused Carlos of attempting to develop an unauthorized biopic about her and her band Xscape.

In September 2022, she stated on the House of Aaron podcast,

“My primary issue with Carlos is that he took my group’s life story and sold it to TV One, and I just can’t get over it.”

She became emotional as she continued to describe her worries. In all the years we had known one other, he had never informed me that he was attempting to make a film about us.

Tamar, 46, stated on Dish Nation that she does not “agree with her labeling him a thief.” She said, “I think that’s a bit off the deep end.”

Tamar claimed on her Instagram Stories in December that she was intimidated by a co-star and her spouse. She wrote,

“I was threatened by a peach emoji and they dude.” “It’s BEEF and it’s a Genuine BEEF because yo HUSBAND approached me! Period!” she exclaimed.

This is a screenshot of her comment. On March 19’s episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, she confirmed her feud with Kandi.

Tamar took to Instagram the next day to elaborate on her views. “I am not like these other reality individuals. Okay, I’m a genuine, five-time Emmy-nominated journalist. “Difference,” she wrote on March 20 (see below) (with a chuckle).

“Thus, I do not feel comfortable publicly branding someone a liar without knowing the relevant information. That is where I stand on the matter. I was not on the “You are not my friend” team.

I do not wish to support you. It wasn’t for nothing that it was messy.” Due to her “work and [her] integrity,” she must be aware of both narratives before she can even consider choosing a side, she said.

Tamar went on to explain that the incident she had previously alluded to occurred backstage before one of her gigs. She stated she encountered Kandi in the corridor and attempted to give her a hug, but Kandi did not believe her.

Kandi stated that she apologized to the Kandi Koated founder and attempted to clarify what she meant by her comment on Dish Nation, but her efforts to mend fences failed.

She continued by claiming that when she offered they have a private conversation in her dressing room, Kandi enthusiastically agreed so that she could “take their disagreement to the next level.” Tamar stated she informed Kandi that she was not interested, and Todd entered the scene shortly thereafter.

“He comes to grab her, says something to her, then looks me in the eye and says, ‘You know what it is'” The Queens Court actor continued, “The point is, I and Kandi or me and another female may dispute all day long, but when it comes to men physically threatening and harming another woman, that’s where I draw the line.”
