At the time of writing, the video had received over 7 million views, 470,000 likes, and 21,200 comments.

Joshua Pingley, an app user known as @yourbestfriendjoshua, a commenter on entertainment news, highlighted Timberlake’s TikTok comment that read, “You owe Britney Spears an apology,” in a video.
