Jung Ho Yeon Would Likely Wish To Join Zendaya In Euphoria

Jung Ho Yeon

Jung Ho-Yeon has already established herself as a brilliant performer through her role in the Korean Netflix series Squid Game. It was the model-turned-debut actor’s performance. She also won a SAG Award for Outstanding Performance by an Actor in a Drama Series at the 28th Screen Actors Guild (SAG) Awards for the same role.

While the world awaits Season 2 and her expected return as Sae-byeok, the actress has already set her sights on another acclaimed project she would “love” to be a part of HBO’s Euphoria, starring Zendaya.

Jung Ho-yeon Visited The Set Of The HBO Series

During her recent appearance at the Critics’ Choice Awards 2022, the actress confessed to Entertainment Tonight that she visited the Euphoria set during filming.

“I once visited the set of Euphoria, and it was great to see it again after filming Squid Game. It was funny since I felt so at peace just sitting. Although I am not a member of the Euphoria team, I felt safe and protected.”

She stated that she would “love” to appear on the Emmy-winning program and would not rule out a cameo appearance in the future. While nothing is known about Jung’s Ho-appearance Yeon in the forthcoming season of Euphoria, there is reason to be optimistic about her future in Squid Game Season 2.

The Squid Game director has a plan for the Sae-comeback book

Hwang Dong-hyuk joked during the red carpet event that if the actress’s character, Sae-byeok, dies in Season 1, she may return as her twin sister in Season 2. Although that may have been a joke, Jung Ho-ardent Yeon’s supporters are crossing their fingers.

In the first season of the Netflix series, she portrays Sae-byeok, a North Korean defector whose mother had been arrested and deported. Simultaneously, her father drowned attempting to leave.

Sae-byeok lived in South Korea with her brother and picked pockets to earn enough money to purchase a home and reunite her family, which was her goal.

She was a perfect fit for the Squid Game. She is one of the few survivors to reach the final few rounds, but she is badly wounded and dies before the final round.
