The pansexual dancer who has become a social media star just revealed her new partner on TikTok, and her fans were right to predict who it would be. She announced her new union with her longtime companion, Avery Cyrus. Even if her most ardent followers may not have been shocked by the discovery, they are clearly upset by it. And it appears to have more to do with Cyrus than Siwa.

Avery Cyrus Is Jojo Siwa’s New Girlfriend
On September 13, 2022, Siwa made her relationship with Cyrus public in a TikTok that broke the internet. “Happiest girl,” Siwa wrote as the caption for the video, which showed the two having a good time taking beautiful pictures at an arcade photo booth. JoJo Siwa inserted pictures from the booth, one of which featured the two kissings, throughout the video.
Just a few days prior, Cyrus published her own Instagram picture dump, the majority of which included Siwa. Cyrus and Siwa have been collaborating on TikTok for a while now. However, none of them made any overt allusions to their developing relationship before to the aforementioned TikTok. They even uploaded a lip-sync video on September 4, 2022, where they made fun of being “platonic.”

Siwa, who self-identifies as “gay” and “queer,” only made the relationship known to the public on September 13. However, their followers had been speculating about it for a while. The number of comments on her introduction video reveals people’s awe.
The first remark on the video was “I KNEW IT.” Someone else remarked, “It was very clear.” Several people expressed their displeasure with Siwa’s relationship and its timing among these and other statements greeting the new pair.
One person referred to the recent breakups of Siwa and Cyrus as “when two couples part up and ultimately wind up establishing a new pair.” Another jokingly said, “Traitor by Olivia was just about to play when this song came on,” and a third questioned, “Has it even been a month?”
They were criticizing Cyrus, who had recently ended her relationship with Soph Mosca. They had been in a relationship for about two years and had even shared a home at one time. Early in August, Cyrus and Mosca announced their separation and began to frequently appear on Siwa’s social media.
In June 2022, Siwa and Kylie Prew, her ex-girlfriend, divorced. In the course of their two-year on-again, off-again relationship, they had split up twice. They first broke up in November 2021, but they got back together in April 2022 after months of speculation. During their breakup, she was reportedly rumored to have dated other people, but nothing came of it. Prew and Siwa terminated their romance amicably.
