“Jonathan Szeles (Amazing Jonathan) passed away on 2/22/22 at approximately 11:30 p.m. My heart is broken. One of my best friends and one of the most entertaining individuals I have ever met. I will never forget this amazing, fantastic, kind, amusing, and wonderful man.

John’s wife, Anastasia Synn, stated on February 21 that her husband was unresponsive and had likely passed away following a “horrific” week. While receiving hospice care, Anastasia’s husband requested that his close friends refrain from texting and contacting him instead. She continued by saying:

I don’t think we anticipated this day, given that he is so resilient and has conquered it so many times. As the news spreads, it’s becoming too much for me, so I’m going to have to take a step back. I adore you and value your assistance.”
