On November 3, 2022, at 9/8c, the renowned ABC network will air the first episode of Season 19. The next episode is titled When I Get to the Border. The episode’s writer was Julie Wong, and Jesse Williams also served as the episode’s director.
Williams’ character Dr. Jackson Avery was created by Shonda Rhimes, the executive producer and creator of the well-known American romance drama series Grey’s Anatomy.
The character debuted in episode 5 of the sixth season, titled Invasion. When Mercy West Medical Center merged with Seattle Grace, Dr. Jackson Avery, played by Jesse Williams, joined Grey’s Anatomy as a surgical resident from that institution. For his work in Take Me Out, Jesse Williams was also nominated for a Tony Award for Featured Actor in a Play.
