Janai Norman And Eli Norman Are Expecting Their Third Child

Good Morning America co-anchor Janai Norman is expecting her third child. She has been married to Eli Norman since 2018, but Eli’s current occupation is unknown at this time. Janai told PEOPLE that people knew about her pregnancy before she made it public.

She went on to say that she saw two people asking if she was pregnant in different places:

“And then, on the day I found out, I posted a picture with the caption ‘Caption this,’ and someone said ‘Surprise pregnancy.'” I’m not sure what it is, but some people appear to know, so I’m curious.”

Janai is now 10 weeks pregnant with her third child, who will be born at the end of 2023. When she was pregnant, she experienced increased nausea, moodiness, and drowsiness, but her morning sickness only bothered her in the evening. She also stated that going to bed early allows her to wake up “bright-eyed and bushy-tailed.”

Janai Norman and Eli Norman met on Tinder, and according to Janai, Eli was her second date. According to PEOPLE, she intended to discontinue her use of the app if the relationship ended. She proposed to Eli in April of this year, and they married in May of this year. They eventually had two children, with a third on the way. Janai told PEOPLE about her baby’s birth in 2017:

“I was determined to do it again with my daughter,” she says, “and she had a fantastic water birth during the pandemic.” They thought I was crazy when I told them it was magical. It was correct.”

Janai has not disclosed any information about her children. She gave the following reasoning:

“It all comes down to consent.” At the same time, my maternal experience is very personal to me and is an important part of who I am. I’d like to share my experience while respecting their privacy.”

Janai Norman was born on January 5, 1990 in the United States. She attended the University of Missouri at Columbia and earned degrees in both psychology and mass communication. The 32-year-old began her career at ABC Television Network as an intern. She began her career with ABC 17 in August 2011 and later moved to WFTV Channel 9 in 2014. She joined ABC News in October 2016 and has since hosted ABC News Programs, World News Now, and American This Morning.
