James Cusati-Moyer- Birth, Age, Ethnicity, Siblings, Education

James Cusati-Moyer was born on May 1, 1989, in Northampton, Pennsylvania, and raised in the United States of America. Moyer stated in one of his interviews that he attended an arts high school before moving to New York City. This is why he has always desired to relocate to New York City. But, because he wanted to improve his acting and associated skills, he enrolled in a conservatory arts high school. The school did not welcome him back for his second year, and he had lost hope that he would ever be able to follow his dream of becoming an actor. Going to a liberal arts college in Manhattan where he could study acting was the greatest blessing of his life.

During the summers of his college years, he also attended the Williamstown Theater Festival, where he formed the idea that he should seek a master’s degree. Moyer was continuously looking for ways to improve. He continued his studies and was accepted to Yale. As an undergraduate, he attended Boston University. Following that, he grew close to Jeremy O. Harris, whom he defines as belonging to a generation following him. Moyer had stayed friends with Jeremy by the time he graduated from college. They were acquainted when they were both students at the same high school. When Jeremy was in New Haven, he used to support Moyer, and Moyer used to support Jeremy when he was in New York. Jeremy was working on “Slay Play” at the time, and he frequently reported back that he was working on a role for him (of course Moyer).
