The promise of a new morning is something that both night and life have. A new beginning appears for TV anchor Shaun Robinson, who has experienced her fair share of sorrow. Shaun was once married, but she experienced a bit of ill luck or tragedy that ruined her marriage.

Where was Shaun Robinson born? Family

On July 11, 1962, Shaun Robinson was born in Detroit, Michigan. With her family, Shaun gets along well with her siblings. She has two sisters, Jewel and Yvahkeia, as well as a brother named Kwame. Shaun shared a photo of her siblings on Instagram on Christmas 2016 and expressed gratitude for the opportunity to spend the holiday with them.

To make matters worse, she recently shared a photo of herself with her younger sister Jewel in which she talked openly about helping her father give Jewel a name. Since Jewel’s birth, Shaun has raised her like a larger sister and taken on an even greater amount of responsibility for her after tragically losing their father to cancer back in 2015.

During her roughly 16-year tenure as host of Access Hollywood, Shaun Robinson experienced both highs and lows in her personal life. Shaun has experienced it all, from a failed marriage to her ex-passing! husband Darryl Hamilton, a professional baseball outfielder, and Shaun, 55, were wed. In 1994, the two were married.

Her husband Darryl, who was playing professionally for the Milwaukee Brewers at the time of the couple’s announcement to Jet Magazine, and she exchanged vows during a ceremony in Milwaukee.

The two eventually split up, therefore their marriage did not last forever. Shaun had her on TV all the time, but she seldom ever talked about her marriage. Neither the causes nor the dates of their divorce were reported in the media.

Speaking of the tragic events, her ex-husband was later killed on June 21, 2015, in a murder-suicide. There is no evidence of Shaun’s dating since the media broke the news of their divorce. Additionally, according to the claims, she hasn’t been seen with any other men.

Even so, Shaun maintained her composure and carried on with her life. However, moving on does not always entail finding a new partner to date. Now, her attention is on her career!

How did Shaun Robinson start her Professional Career?

After losing her father, Shaun, an Atlanta native, and Spelman College alum started to understand the lessons her father was trying to teach her. As a result, in 2015, Shaun quit the job she had held for 16 years and began working for her own production company called Robin Hood Productions, stoking her passion for empowering young women so that they can live their lives to the fullest.

Shaun was a correspondent and a host for Access Hollywood until deciding to leave his position. She also hosted the TV One Access program on the TV One network. With the Detroit television station WGPR-TV62, Shaun started her career in broadcasting. She received an Associated Press Award for her reporting for WISN-TV in Milwaukee. She also worked as a news anchor for Miami’s WSVN-TV station.
